That's right. You can win $100 by simply uploading video files to YouTubecebu! Here's how...
Contest Details:
1. The Contest starts on November 1st, 12 A.M U.S. Pacific Time (that is 4PM of Nov. 1, 2007 Philippine Time)
2. The Contest ends on November 30th, 11:59P.M. U.S. Pacific Time (that is Dec. 1st, 3:59PM Phlippine Time)
3. Only video files uploaded within the start and end dates of the contest are counted.
4. The winning member/s will be declared within 24hrs from the end of the contest.
5. The winning member/s will be featured in the YouTubecebu main page as soon as results are available.
6. The winning member/s receives US$100.00 in total through Paypal.
7. The winning member/s will be notified through email with specific instructions to claim the price.
8. The winning member/s must respond to the notice within 15 days upon receipt of the email.
Contest Rules:
1. Contestants must be a YouTubecebu member.
2. Contestants must join the "Video Contest" group to be considered. To join the group, go to the Groups botton at the main page, then click " Video Contest ", then login or join to add a video.
3. Contestants must have a minimum of 20 approved videos uploaded to qualify for the prize.
4. All video submissions are subject to approval based on contest criteria in order to be counted.
5. Videos uploaded for the contest must be submitted under the "Contest Video Group". The Video Contest Group check box is found at the bottom part of the video upload page. So before clicking the "Add Video" button, make sure that Video Contest Group checkbox right above it is checked.
6. Videos outside of this group will not be counted .
7. The contestant that has the most numver of approved video upload wins the contest. In the case of a tie, the price will be divided among the winners.
8. Contestants must have a Paypal account. If you don't have a Paypal account, you may click "Links and Numbers" button and click the Paypal logo to direct you to the Paypal sign up page. Winniner/s without a paypal account can not claim prize.
9. In the event that a winner is disqualified based on these rules, the prize will be awarded to the member with second highest number of uploaded videos.
Criteria for Video approval:
1. Video submissions must follow the YouTubecebu general submission rules and Terms of Service.
2. Video(s) must be in .flv, .wmv, .asf, .avi, .mov, .3gp, .mpg, .mpeg, or .mp4 format, 25MB limit.
3. Video(s) must be considerably sharp (meaning subject must be identifiable, minimal blur and shake are acceptable.) These factors are determined by approving body.
4. Video(s) may be colored, black and white, sepia.
. Submitting redundant video(s) is not allowed. In the event that a member submits closely similar or redundant videos in terms of subject, angle, content etc., the approving body reserves the right to choose as to which video/s are removed from the contest files and which ones are taken in.
6. All videos submitted for the Video Contest whether accepted or rejected are still in the general upload section. If your submitted videos are not accepted in the Video Contest, you will receive an email stating the reason/s for rejection. If you feel that your video(s) were rejected by mistake, you may post a link to your rejected video and your reasons for reconsideration at Appeal for Reconsideration Forum. The final decision still remains with the approving body.
