CeMS will have an end of the month climb at Mount Manunggal by way of Cantipla, Cebu City on the morning of August 25, 2007. After spending one night at Manunggal, the group will traverse Inalad trail for Barangay Gaas and camp there at Vidal's place on August 26. CeMS will have a backpacking trek at the only standing and old-growth rainforests of Cebu Province in Nug-as, Alcoy. CeMS will again go on a year-end climb and trek to Cebu's last stand of old-growth forest at Nug-as, Alcoy, Cebu on December 28-29, 2007; this time on another newly-developed trail. Meals will be free courtesy of Batch 2007 members. Budget will be around Php370.00 only! Pre-climb meeting will be at Dr. Abe Manlawe's clinic at St. Vincent Hospital in R.R. Landon Extn., Cebu City on December 27 at 6:00 PM.
